Semi translucent dark crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Subdued aromas of dark cherry, anise and spice. The palate displays much more intensity than the nose with flavours of ripe black cherry, anise and spice followed by some toasty back palate characters. Good power wave. Soft fine grained tannin structure with aftertaste of anise, spice and dark cherry.
