Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of violets, dark cherry, spice, toast and cedar. The palate is quite dry and lacks the intensity expected. Flavours of sour cherry, cedar and spice with dry, slightly chalky tannins. Moderate power with aftertaste of cherry, spice and earth.
