2008 Signatory Vintage Benrinnes 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A Bourbon casked Benrinnes bottled at 43% abv as part of the Signatory Vintage 'Copper Tin' collection. There's only being a handful of Benrinnes official bottlings, with the majority of output devoted to Johnnie Walker and J&B. Its notoriety continues to rise, thanks almost entirely to the indies. Distilled in 2008, a year after they changed back to a double distillation (as opposed to a 2.5 cycle), this bottling would be fascinating to pit against Benrinnes from the distillery's pre 2007 period. Expect a warm and rich whisky with red and black fruits.
