Matured in French oak hogshead for 12 months. Opaque dark crimson red purple colour with deep purple crimson hue. Aromas of blackberry, plum, liquorice and confectionary. Medium to full bodied. The palate is quite elegant for a 2008 South Australian red, even for Adelaide Hills. Flavours of blackberry, plum and liquorice, followed by a touch of spice. Fine grained tannin structure with aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and spice.
