Opaque back purple colour with deep black purple hue. The nose is quite perfumed with aromas of dark chocolate, dark plum and some liquorice with a vanillin overlay. Soft fleshy texture. Full bodied palate with ripe rich flavours of ripe plum, blackberry and dark chocolate with some spicy toasted oak on the back palate. Good length with aftertaste of dark plum, dark chocolate and toasted oak. A well made generously styled McLaren Vale Shiraz.
