Opaque black dark red colour with a very dark brick red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and stewed fruits are followed by cedar, scorched earth and spice. Medium weight the palate has good richness with flavours of blackcurrant and plum followed by leather, scorched earth and spicy vanillin cedar. Very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, plum, earthy vanillin cedar, leather and spice.
