Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackcurrant, liquorice and spice – all quite subdued. Medium weight with good richness the palate displays flavours of blackcurrant, spice and cedar. Quite dry, chalky tannins bring an abrupt halt to the finish. Moderate aftertaste of blackcurrant and spice with the dry chalky tannins persisting.
