Near opaque dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of blackberry and liquorice followed by some spice and a touch of cedar – a refined Shiraz sniff. Medium weight with an elegant build the palate displays flavours of blackberry, dark plum, spice and a touch of blackpepper with a cedar overlay. Dry, slightly chalky tannins with an aftertaste of spicy blackberry and cedar. An elegant spicy Shiraz.
