Semi translucent crimson red mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Delicate but perfumed aromas of violets, dark cherry and spice followed by a gamey end note. Light to medium weight the palate displays flavours sour cherry and spice followed by some earthy characters. Quite dry, elegant and pretty but lacking power and complexity. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins with moderate aftertaste of cherry, spice and earth.
