2008 Olivier Leflaive Les Deux Rives Chablis

Olivier Leflaive have both their own Domaines as well as having close relationships with many of Burgundy’s top growers from whom they purchase. The blending process is carried out by Olivier Leflaive and his technical director, Franck Grux.

This excellent Chablis is a blend of grapes sourced from both sides of the Serein River, thus the name ‘Deux Rives’ meaning 'Two Banks'.
Brilliant pale straw colour with very pale straw hue. Delicate restrained aromas of light pear, citrus and wet slate are followed by some straw end notes. Clean crisp dry palate with flavours of light pear and a touch of citrus with a very flinty mineral like quality on the back palate displaying excellent length. Crisp dry finish with good balanced acidity. Long aftertaste of flinty mineral, citrus and pear.
