2008 Oliver's Taranga Vineyards Cadenzia Grenache

This power packed Grenache includes a 5% Shiraz component and maturation took place in French oak.

Semi translucent dark crimson mauve colour with brick red mauve hue. The nose is quite perfumed, displaying excellent intensity with lifted aromas of ripe raspberry, liquorice allsorts and confectionary followed by a touch of spice. Mouthfilling and opulently textured the palate displays excellent weight with flavours of super ripe raspberry, liquorice allsorts and confectionary followed by some blackpepper characters on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent length with very long aftertaste of ripe raspberry, liquorice allsorts and spice.
