Mannochmore is another sought-after yet obscure malt, largely reserved for blends and drowned out by its more prominent neighbours, Longmorn and Benriach. This one's decanted from a refill hogshead with a yield of 299 bottles at cask strength. Its sweet and supple Speyside characteristics are said to include notes of barley sugar and toasted citrus, lemon sherbet and creamola flan with lashings of butter to finish.
