2008 North Star Glentauchers 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Yet another sherried sensation makes the grade for Series 021, this time from obscure Speysider, Glentauchers. Distilled in 2008, the whisky rested in an oloroso butt that yielded 708 bottles. When a dram is this dark it tends to sell itself! 58.1% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... Nose: Brand new tupperware filled with empire biscuits and Victoria sponge. Palate: Similar to a leather Rive Droite riding crop soaked in sherry, spanking your taste buds. Finish: Thick, long, dry and very naughty.
