This dram needs some time to completely reveal its flavours… but it will reward you with a lovely sherry matured Glenallachie… The nose has the ‘standard’ sherry flavours with lots of red fruit… a bit ‘boring’ and one-dimensional… taste and finish are really lovely with lots of chocolat and sherry-associated fruits… but the sherry does not overwhelm and I really like that… not your typical sherry-bomb… nice selection from North Star. - whiskybase.com
