2008 Mud House Central Otago Pinot Noir

Parcels of this wine were matured in new and used French oak barrels for up to 12 months. Other parcels remained in stainless steel tanks to retain the vibrant fruit characters. Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose delivers aromas of toasty cedar, cherry and spice. Flavours of dark cherry, spice, plums and cedar with good powerwave. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of spice, cherry and plum.
