Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose displays lifted top notes of dark cherry, strawberry and toast with a spicy clove like overlay showing good intensity. Light in weight but possessing plenty of flavour with dark cherry and ripe strawberry to the fore, followed by some clove and spice characters. Soft fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, earthy clove and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
