Deep purple crimson red colour with crimson hue. Aromas of very ripe dark cherries and plum jam followed by some spice and a touch of prune. Voluptous ripe palate flavours of black cherry and ripe plum with a spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark ripe plum and spice. A very ripe full bodied example of Sangiovese that still possesses the varieties trademark spicy qualities.
