Crimson red colour with light mauve hue. Aromas of dark cherry, plum, confectionary and spice. Medium weight, with joosy plum and cherry flavours driving the palate with some background notes of toast, confectionary and spice. Soft tannin structure with aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and toast. An uncomplicated, but well made quaffer.
