Light crimson red colour with mauve hue. The nose is quite subdued with aromas of macerated cherries, spice and confectionary - quite simple and lacking varietal character. Light palate flavours of spiced cherry and stewed plum lacking depth and persistence. Dryish tannins with moderate aftertaste of cherry and stewed plum. An uninspiring commercial quaffer.
