2008 Jasper Hill Cornella Vineyard Grenache

Semi translucent dark red mauve colour with mauve crimson hue. The nose displays perfumed aromas of ripe raspberry, plum, confectionary and spice. Very ripe generous flavours of super ripe raspberry, plum and liquorice allsorts followed by some blackpepper and spice on the back palate. Very fine grained almost silk like tannin structure with just a hint of heat poking through on the finish. Excellent length with very long aftertaste of ripe raspberry, liquorice, confectionary and blackpepper.
