This Rhone inspired blend is produced from Grenache and Shiraz along with a dash of Mourvedre and Cinsault. Deep dark crimson red colour, almost opaque, with dark crimson red mauve hue. Aromas of dark plum and very ripe raspberry followed by some confectionary, blackberry and spice. Generous full bodied palate flavours of very ripe blackberry, spice and dark plum with a touch of blackpepper emerging on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins with aftertaste of dark plum, blackberry, spice and pepper.
