2008 Hesketh Thirsty Dog Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque dark red black colour with deep dark brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spice. Full bodied, the palate is very ripe and concentrated with the fruit at the darker end of the spectrum. Flavours of very ripe blackcurrant, mulberry and spice with some underlying cedar. Fine grained, slightly dryish but balanced tannins with long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, mulberry and spice. A very generous fully ripened Coonawarra Cabernet.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
