2008 Fairhall Downs Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve crimson hue. Aromas of dark cherry, anise and violets followed by a hint of cedar. The palate displays slightly higher acidity and lacks the supple texture and depth of the outstanding 2007 vintage. Flavours of dark cherry, spice, anise and cedar. Good power wave with fine grained tannin structure and aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and cedar.
