2008 Elderton Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon

Displaying an opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue this wine was matured in a combination of French and American oak for 2 years. The nose is a little reserved with aromas of blackcurrant, mocha and spice emerging. Full bodied, ripe and generous the palate displays flavours of blackcurrant, plum and liquorice followed by a spicy back palate with a touch of cedar also emerging. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackcurrant, chocolate bullets and spice.
