2008 Duas Quintas Adriano Ramos Pinto

Produced from the traditional grapes of Douro – Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca. Opaque deep dark purple colour with deep purple hue. Aromas of dark ripe cherry and dark raspberry are to the fore followed by some earthy ink like characters and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers generous flavours of dark raspberry followed by some inky characters, earth and spice supported by dry, slightly firmish tannins which gives the wine a chewy mouthfeel. Good length with medium to long aftertaste of dark raspberry, dark cherry and earthy spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
