2008 Domaine Asmara Private Collection Shiraz

Opaque black crimson red colour with very deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice, blackberry, spice and dark plum. Full bodied with flavours of liquorice, confectionary, spice and black pepper with some toast end notes - the black pepper persisting on the back palate. Excellent length. Fine grained tannin structure with long aftertaste of liquorice, confectionary and black pepper. A very peppery Heathcote Shiraz.
Cellar for 3-4 years (2013-2014).
