Translucent crimson colour with crimson hue. Lifted aromas of ripe cherry, strawberry and confectionary followed by some cedar end notes showing good intensity and varietal character. Flavours of dark cherry, confectionary and spice. Fine grained tannins with a dry finish. Aftertaste of cherry, confectionary and toast that lacks persistence. The wine is missing the power wave the varietal is capable of delivering.
