2008 De Bortoli Noble One Botrytis Semillon 375ml

Bright brassy golden colour with pale gold hue. Possessing excellent intensity the nose presents an alluring and exotic sniff of honeyed ripe peach and apricot with a honeycomb end note. Fabulously concentrated and boasting a thick luscious texture the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of honeyed botrytis characters, ripe apricot, lemon butter and ripe peach with just a hint of toffee on the back palate. Clean finish but without the acid structure of a top flight Sauternes. Exceptionally long aftertaste of honeyed apricot, lemon butter, ripe peach and a touch of spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2012-2017).
