Opaque dark crimson red purple colour with purple crimson hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, liquorice and spice with a light dried apricot overtone. Medium weight the palate is soft and fleshy in texture delivering flavours of ripe plum, dark raspberry and liquorice followed by some confectionary with a spicy back palate. Dry finish with soft fine grained tannins. Good length with aftertaste of dark plum, blackberry, toast and spice.
