2008 Claxton's Warehouse No.1 Tormore 13 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A rum barrel matured Tormore that leans more towards Kentucky than the Carribbean. The aromas are fresh and malty with sprinklings of cocoa and hints of orange zest. A rush of bittersweet dark chocolate at mid palate is countered by warming wood spices, peel zest and vanilla oak. Finishes on a wonderfully mature Bourbon note, salted chocolate in tow. Vibrant and delicious. 55.4% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 225 bottles from a fresh rum barrel.
