The wine displays excellent colour for a quaffing Italian Sangiovese – near opaque dark crimson red with dark crimson red hue. Perfumed aromas of dark cherries, plum and spice with a touch of leather emerging in the background. The palate is quite new world like with an almost joosy textural quality. Flavours of ripe dark cherry, spice and earth. Soft fine grained tannin structure with aftertaste of ripe black cherry and spice. A very well made everyday drinking Sangiovese.
