Launched in 2014 this heavily peated Islay malt is produced from grain grown exclusively on Islay. Like Bruichladdich's other peated releases (besides Octomore), this is marketed under their "Port Charlotte" label. The barley was harvested and distilled in 2008 from six properties including Coull, Kynagarry, Island, Rockside, Starchmill & Sunderland and peated to 40 ppm. Like every other Bruichladdich this is non chill filtered and colouring free. 50% Alc./Vol.
