Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with a deep dark red black hue. Intense aromas of ripe dark plums and liquorice are followed by some dark chocolate, vanillin oak and subtle spicy leather. Full bodied and very rich the palate possesses voluptuously textured flavours of liquorice, ripe dark plums and dark chocolate over toasty vanillin oak, mocha and spice. Velvet smooth plush tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, ripe dark plums, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spicy mocha.
