Matured for 18 months in oak hogsheads this wine displays a totally opaque black crimson colour with very deep black crimson hue. The nose displays good intensity with ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and confectionary aromas. Generous, flavoursome and rich with an opulent texture the palate delivers flavours of ripe blackberry, liquorice and confectionary followed by some spice and blackpepper on the back palate. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long liquorice, blackberry, confectionary and blackpepper aftertaste.
