2008 Bishops Head Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright crimson red colour with mauve brick red hue. Aromas of dark cherry, strawberry and spicy cedar. Light to medium weight the palate delivers flavours of dark cherry and dark plum, followed by some meaty game-like characters and a spicy back palate. Fine grained soft tannins. Good length. Aftertaste of dark cherry, meaty game and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2011-2013).
