2008 Bass River Chardonnay

Bright deep straw pale gold colour with pale straw hue. The nose presents aromas of subtle honeycomb, citrus, nougat, roast almond and some spice end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses a rich flavour profile of honeycomb, citrus and some toasty characters followed by some nutty almond and a spicy back palate. Good mouthfeel with a clean dry finish. Aftertaste of honeycomb, spice and some lingering hazelnut like characters.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
