2008 Balgownie Estate Shiraz

Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays excellent intensity with perfumed scents of ripe blackberry, dark plum and chocolate bullets followed by some peppery end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers generous flavours of blackberry and dark plum followed by some liquorice and black pepper characters. Good structure with fine grained tannins and medium to long aftertaste of blackberry, dark plum and blackpepper.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
