2008 Balgownie Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose is a little subdued with subtle aromatics of blackcurrant, cedary cigar box like characters and spice emerging. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers flavours of blackcurrant, ripe mulberry, cedar and spice finishing with dry leathery tannins that give the wine a chewy mouthfeel. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, leather and spicy cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
