2008 Ada River Heathcote Reserve Shiraz Museum Release

A rich, lavish offering from Heathcote that’s in its peak drinking window.

Aged in new French oak. Dense black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Wafting from the glass are potent liquorice and blackberry aromas followed by subtly toasted vanillin oak, fennel and pepper. Full, bold and rich, the palate is a super concentrate of aniseed, black cherry and blackberry flavours. Underscoring the lavish fruits are spicy vanillin oak, earthy fennel and pepper. Firmish yet well integrated tannins provide the framework. Superb power and depth concluding long, rich and opulent.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
