A big old fashioned buttery style of Chardonnay.
Deep straw gold colour with straw hue. Aromas of honeycomb, toast, hazelnut and nougat showing oxidative handling and lees contact. Full bodied with creamy palate texture – flavours of hazelnut, honeycomb and nougat with some butterscotch and spice making an appearance on the back palate. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of honeycomb, nougat, butterscotch and spice.Drink over the next 2 years (2009-2011)
