$1560.00 Dozen
ABV: 48%

Tasting note: [15ml sample] Finished for twenty months in second fill Oloroso sherry casks. The sherry pick up is slight, regardless, this Glen Moray is one of the best we've tasted to date. Wonderful purity on the nose with a floral lift suggesting fruit salad, ripe pineapple, nashi pear and creamy vanilla. Follows in a succulent, fruity delivery (think peaches and apples) enlivened by low-key spices. Impeccable balance. Delectable. The mouthfeel is superb. 48% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottler... Nose: Ripe peaches, apricots and red apples and fresh laundry after a sunny day on the line. Horses feed bag maltiness and rising bread dough. Hard caramels in the background hint at a slightly savoury palate. Jelly beans came after time in the glass. Palate: Creamy mouthfeel makes the drinker swirl the dram around the mouth allowing those stone fruit characters to really penetrate. Really nice vanillas and barley sweetness, capturing the raw ingredient perfectly. Finish: A bit of white pepper as the malty sweetness fades and the oak character rounds things out.
