2007 Terraza de los Andes Reserva Malbec

This Argentinean Malbec possesses excellent structure and was matured in a combination of 80% French and 20% American oak barriques, all of which were new, for a period of 12 months. Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson black hue. Perfumed nose with lifted aromas of black cherry, earth, liquorice and blackberry displaying excellent intensity. Medium to full bodied and quite rich, the palate still maintains a sense of elegance with flavours of blackberry, black cherry and spice followed by some cedar with a earthy overlay. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice and earth.
Cellar 4-5 years (2014-2015).
