2007 Stella Bella Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Opaque, black crimson colour with deep, dark red to black mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of mulberry, cedar, blackcurrant and tobacco followed by a hint of spice - displaying good intensity and varietal character. Medium weight with refined palate structure displaying flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spice, followed by some cigar box back palate characters. Good length with dryish, fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of cedar, mulberry and spice.

Fragrant and pure black and redcurrant aromas lead into a precise, beautifully structured medium- to full-bodied palate, with emery board tannins drawing out the finish, as does cedary oak; very good line, length and balance. Screwcap.
