2007 Reilly's Barking Mad Shiraz

The fruit for Barking Mad Shiraz is sourced from low yielding dry grown vines planted on Reilly’s elevated vineyard in Watervale. The fruit is hand picked and fermented in open vat fermenters.

Very deep black, purple colour with black purple hue – almost opaque. Top note of vanilla, blackberry and liquorice allsorts. The palate is generous with flavours of liquorice, blackberry and dark chocolate, supported by a back palate of spice and vanilla. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of vanilla, blackberry, spice and black pepper. Excellent everyday drinking.
