2007 Poggio al Tesoro Mediterra

Made from a blend of 40% Syrah, 30% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 8 months in barriques.

Opaque dark red black colour with deep dark brick red hue. Perfumed aromas of black cherry, dark plum, spice and cedar followed by some new leather end notes. Full bodied with rich flavours of inky black cherry, dark plum and spice followed by some earthy leather like characters on the back palate. Excellent depth. Fine grained dryish but balanced tannin structure with long aftertaste of spice, dark plum, cherry and charred leather.
