Matured for 18 months in French oak hogsheads. Opaque dark red black colour with deep dark red hue. The nose is quite perfumed with lifted aromas of dark chocolate, dark plum, vanilla and liquorice allsorts. Generous ripe palate flavours of blackberry, dark plum and liquorice followed by some dark chocolate and spice on the back palate. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark chocolate, blackberry and spice.
