2007 Mollydooker The Maitre D Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is named after Sparky who put himself through winemaking college as a left-handed Maitre D' - he believes this to be their best vintage yet for Cabernet.

Very deep crimson brick red colour with crimson brick red hue. Perfumed nose with cassis, violets, cedar and blackcurrant followed by a hint of confectionary. On the palate, flavours of spice and blackcurrant are evident over a fine liquorice back palate with spiciness persisting. Aftertaste of spice, liquorice and blackcurrant.
