2007 Minnow Creek McLaren Vale Shiraz

Trophy winner for best red at the 2008 McLaren Vale wine show.
Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. Ripe plum and blackberry aromas are followed by some spice and emerging chocolately leather like notes. Big full bodied palate flavours of liquorice, blackberry and spice followed by some dark chocolate with some leather emerging on the back palate. Opulent mouthfeel with super fine grained almost velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberry and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
