2007 Josef Chromy Botrytis Riesling (375ml)

This wine was considered one of the top Australian sweet wine releases for 2008 as testified to by a trail of accolades including Gold Medals at the International Sweet Wine Challenge & the Sydney International Wine Show as well as a Trophy at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show.

Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. Top note showing strong botrytis Riesling character with its distinctive lemon, honey and dried apricot notes followed by a confectionary end note. There is a spiciness that appears and moves through to the palate combining with flavours of honey, lemon and butter. Excellent palate weight. Clean acid finish. Very long honey, lemon, confectionary, spice aftertaste.
