All of the 2007 Hurley Vineyard Pinot Noirs were matured for 18 months in Troncais & Allier French oak barrels of which one third was new. The wines then received 12 months bottle age before being released. The Garamond Vineyard is 3 acres in size and is planted with the MV6 clone. It’s East facing and a little cooler than the Lodestone & Hommage vineyards. Total production for the 2007 vintage was 280 cases.

Excellent colour – deep crimson red purple with crimson mauve hue. Lifted aromas of black cherries, raspberry, dark plum and aniseed with a touch of cedar – a superb sniff. Mouthfilling concentrated palate flavours of dark plums, black cherries, violet infusions, spice and cedar. Good weight and power wave. Super fine grained tannins with aftertaste of black cherries and spice.
